Semicolons (;)

                  1. Use semicolons to separate two closely related sentences in
                      terms of their meanings.

Example: There are many solutions; to raise public awareness; to
                      provide more facilities.

Example: All these solutions have been implemented; we can

now hope there would be no problem like this.

                                                                                                                     NOTE: do
not write the next word after a semi-colon with any capital letter.

                  2. Use a semicolon before and comma after some words such as

“however”, “therefore”, “that is”, “for instance”, “to illustrate”,
when they introduce another complete sentence right after
                      another sentence.

Example: This was the happiest moment of my life; however, it did

                      not last much.
